As the Senior Learning Management Systems Administrator, your role is to oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of learning systems within AHEAD. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will partner closely with the Talent Development and Employee Experience team as well as business stakeholders to drive the effective utilization of our learning management systems (LMS). The overall goal for this role is to effectively configure and maintain our learning systems and enhance the learning experience for AHEADians while simultaneously ensuring adherence to our compliance training requirements via efficient oversight of enterprise-wide campaigns throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert of the implementation and configuration of the LMS, migrating from the existing LMS to the new LMS platform.
- Oversee the administration and ongoing management of the learning management system through collaboration with IT and vendor(s); ensure the LMS and software is up-to-date, fully functional, and aligned to support the organization’s learning objectives.
- Deploy learning solutions in the Learning Management System(s).
- Upload SCORM files, configure and test courses.
- Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to upload, organize, and manage learning content within the LMS; ensure learning materials are accessible, accurate, and up to date.
- Develop and manage LMS user groups to optimize assignment of new hire onboarding and role-specific training.
- Design, execute, and monitor multiple simultaneous compliance training campaigns across the enterprise to include new hires, as well as annual training for all roles, as required by law, other governing bodies, and/or client partnerships.
- Develop strategies to promote a culture of timely completion of compliance training throughout the organization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users of the LMS; provide user support and troubleshooting assistance to learners and LMS stakeholders; develop and deliver resources to help AHEADians effectively navigate the LMS.
- Build and run reports for use by Learning & Development, People and Culture Business Partners, and key business leaders across the enterprise.
- Collect and report on LMS data tied to completion rates, learner progress, and feedback, as needed for mandatory and non-mandatory training; ensure data integrity and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop clear, compelling, and concise communications launched from the LMS to drive training participation and completion.
- Collaborate with IT and the HRIS team to effectively integrate learning systems with other HR systems to ensure seamless data flow and automation.
- Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in learning systems and recommend relevant solutions to enhance the AHEADian learning experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, human resources, instructional design, education, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in learning systems management, learning technology, or related role.
- Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) implementation, administration and configuration. Deep expertise with Cornerstone OnDemand strongly preferred.
- Excellent technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and work collaboratively with IT teams and vendors.
- Strong Excel skills including data management and analysis with the ability to collect, analyze, and present data insights.
- Effective communication skills to provide user support and training to employees on the LMS.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with integration and automation of learning systems with other HR systems is a plus.
- Instructional design skills to include familiarity with eLearning and video authoring software tools is a plus.
- Continuous learning mindset and ability to stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
