Senior/Lead Product Specialist: IFS Technology

As a Product Specialist within the IFS R&D Client Framework team, your primary focus will be on the functional design of key front-end framework capabilities. You will collaborate with UX designers, product and program managers, software architects, and engineers to ensure that the functionality we develop is purpose-fit and fully realizes the value intended for our customers. Playing a crucial role throughout the entire development lifecycle, you will contribute to input, planning, and strategy, placing significant emphasis on prototyping, design, and validation steps. Additionally, you will act as a sounding board throughout development and actively participate in the readiness process.

Responsibilities:

1. Engage with requirement owners and stakeholders across the organization.
2. Collaborate with product managers and development teams to gather and evaluate requirements.
3. Work on functional design, emphasizing personas, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
4. Contribute to the enhancement of IFS products, services, and processes by delivering the best possible user experience.
5. Stay up to date with current trends in visual communication and adopt new concepts.
6. Promote design thinking within the development team and across the organization by sharing knowledge, guiding, and training colleagues.
7. Assist in product-related market research and competitive analysis.

• University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• Solid 4+ years of UX design experience, preferably in the production of web and mobile enterprise software.
• Strong UI prototyping skills, visual design expertise, and experience in Figma or a similar tool.
• Experience in mapping and understanding user journeys, creating and working with design systems, components, and patterns.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, usability, information architecture, and user-centered design practices.
• Proven ability to work independently at a detailed level with limited supervision and to work effectively as part of a team.
