WorkWave Team is looking for innovative Information Security Engineers who want to be part of a team of creative and talented individuals. Our teams are a mix of technologists, product managers, development engineers, and UI/UX designers, all working together to deliver our vision. You will be a part of our WorkWave team, helping to develop & support the WorkWave products
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, infrastructure security, governance, risk management, and compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring our systems and data remain secure, compliant, and resilient against threats.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security tools, review logs, detect and respond to threats, and conduct incident response and forensic analysis.
- Manage and configure SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk), oversee IT security measures, manage firewalls, and conduct security audits.
- Manage network security infrastructure, perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and conduct firewall audits.
- Ensure compliance with standards (PCI DSS, SOC, ISO, Privacy Shield), conduct risk assessments, develop security policies, and manage vendor compliance.
- Manage cloud security posture, implement identity, and access management solutions, and configure cloud-based security solutions (AWS, Azure).
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs and conduct regular testing and simulations.
- Oversee patch management, ensure robust identity and access management, and validate disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CHFI, Security+, Splunk Security Admin would be an added advantage.
- 4+ years of experience in information security or related field with hands-on exposure to security operations in complex environments.
- Proven experience with managing compliance initiatives and security audits.
- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of security compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC, ISO, Privacy Shield).
- Proficient in security tools and technologies (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
- Experienced in threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis.
- Knowledgeable in cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of network and system security, and secure architecture design.
- Experienced in enterprise risk management and vendor compliance assessments.
- Excellent communication skills for training and raising security awareness.
