Senior Java Engineer

The Investment Advisory team is dedicated to developing innovative advisory applications to meet the evolving needs of the banking market. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and self-driven software engineer with strong conceptual skills and a client-focused approach.

Your tasks

• Collaborate with an agile development team to align with the product roadmap.
• Take ownership and responsibility in your area of expertise, including performing code reviews.
• Design and implement back-end services.
• Guide, coach, and train the team, including junior members.
• Establish coding and design patterns, promoting best coding practices within the team.
• Align with architects to understand architectural strategy, policies, and patterns.
• Improve code quality through unit and integration tests and support the optimization of the release process.

• Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• At least 5 years of experience with back-end technologies: Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API building, ideally in building highly scalable applications using microservices.
• Strong understanding of design patterns used in Java and microservices.
• Interest in front-end development with Angular.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with PL/SQL programming and databases.
• Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and DevOps practices (e.g., release preparation).
