Cruise is looking for a seasoned IT Systems Engineer to help integrate, automate and manage our Enterprise Applications - Communication and Collaboration Platforms portfolio. The team is responsible for identifying, designing, implementing and supporting the applications to create a streamlined workplace experience for Cruisers. As a skilled IT Systems Engineer on the team, you will be leading the technical delivery of a wide variety of solutions under Corporate IT tools and technologies along with process automation and directly contributing towards improvement of employee experience at Cruise. You will be delivering cross functional strategic initiatives, technology assessment and end to end solution delivery by partnering with various technology teams including IT Support, Security, Identity & Access Management, Infrastructure and various business teams.
What you’ll be doing?
Serve as a subject matter expert on implementation, management, and support of products and plugins across a suite of tools including but not limited to Google Workspace, Slack.
Program internal toolings to manage and integrate various business systems
Provide recommendations to end users and leaders on best practices and standardizations of implementation and designing new processes to best manage and administer the platforms
Develop metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters to provide internals teams observability needs across the portfolio
Determine ways to optimize and improve application management, adoptions and return on investment for the organization
Create and maintain detailed technical and user-facing documentation
Collaborate on problem resolution, team decisions, and project planning
Support multiple projects, including set-up and management of users, project roles, time tracking, security, and plug-ins
Support and manage integrations to external systems with webhooks and API as required
What must you have?
6+ years of experience in the administration, configuration and support of Enterprise Application products which may include some or all of the following:
Ability to administer SaaS and on-prem platforms
Agile project management
4+ years of experience programming back end systems
Programming: Python, GoLang, (language of your choice)
CI/CD pipelines processes familiarity
Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic, and agile environment, including the ability to manage time and maintain an excellent work ethic
Ability to work independently across functions and work with all levels of users and management
Ability to act as a liaison between functional teams and identify dependencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Project Management background
Familiarity with Product Led Development
AWS/GCP/Azure experience in a production environment
Terraform/Docker/Kubernetes experience
Ubuntu, PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat, and NGINX experience
The salary range for this position is $142,800 - $210,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
