Senior IT System Engineer - Aspen IP.21, PIMS (Process Information Management Systems)

Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior IT Systems Engineer - Aspen IP.21, PIMS (Process Information Management Systems) – Onsite Opportunity – Long Term Contract  for one of our clients.

Position Title: Senior IT Systems Engineer - Aspen IP.21, PIMS (Process Information Management Systems)

Location: Mobile, AL (Onsite)

Long Term Contract

Job Description: 

Responsibilities:

• Support the Implementation, Configuration and Maintenance of Aspen IP.21 Systems, including Life Cycle Management of the PIMS Architecture

Provide end user support including:

• Basic IP.21 user training
• Development of Reports, support with Excel add-ins, Trend development, development of ASPEN Graphics
• Providing data access to relevant systems
• Modifications to the ASPEN IP.21 configuration, including addition of new tags and modification of existing tags.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design specifications and project reports
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Ensure that all projects meet regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve engineering processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

• At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of PIMS (Process Information Management Systems) preferably Aspen IP.21
• Experience leading engineering projects and initiatives
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Process Controls experience is a plus
• Experience integrating PIMS systems with various other OT Systems (ex. Automation / Controls systems).

• Experience working with OPC communication is preferred
• Experience with SQL+ is preferred.
