Syarah.com is seeking an experienced IT Officer to manage all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including software, hardware, and networking. The IT Officer will ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and related technologies, providing technical support and expertise to all company department

Requirements

Software Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain company software applications.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and ensure proper updates and licensing.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system backups

Hardware Management

  • Oversee the procurement, setup, and maintenance of company hardware such as computers, mobiles, and other devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain hardware inventory and manage hardware warranties and replacements.

Networking

  • Design, implement, and manage the company’s network infrastructure.
  • Ensure secure and efficient operation of internal networks, VPNs, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.

Technical Support

  • Provide timely and efficient IT support to employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Assist with IT training for staff members to improve proficiency in using IT resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and software management.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and enterprise software.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data protection policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
