Summary:

This senior role will develop native mobile applications on iOS platforms for the company's products and applications as well as lead and mentor a team of iOS Engineers. Your work will involve developing and testing cross-platform applications. You will be a role model and live our Vision, Mission, and Values.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Mentoring:

  • Lead and mentor a team of iOS engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and grow their careers.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Hands-On Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and initiatives.

Technical Leadership:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating relevant advancements into our development processes.
  • Drive technical innovation within the team, identifying and implementing new tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Initiative & Innovation:

  • Take ownership of new initiatives and projects, driving them from conception to completion.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance our iOS applications and development processes.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of the mobile development team.

Required Qualifications:

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Lead iOS Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Solid understanding of iOS architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDK integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Leadership & Communication:
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages and mobile platforms.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of personal projects.

The salary range for this role is $112,065 to $250,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
