Foursquare is looking for a Senior iOS engineer to join our team located in or near one of our office hubs - New York City, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco.

About the team

The Consumer Team is responsible for building and maintaining highly innovative consumer-facing mobile apps. We build products and features that provide compelling user experiences centered around location to users of our apps. The Consumer team is a high-impact team and a core piece of the Foursquare business, with a direct impact on the broader company's success.

In this role, you’ll 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality iOS apps
• Implement new features, optimize existing ones and write clean, maintainable code
• Handle the full surface area of mobile development from data storage to UI interactions
• Be an advocate for modern iOS development, helping us keep the codebase up to date with the latest capabilities, features and best practices
• Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy within a collaborative team
• Learn, grow and mentor!

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of experience in native iOS development
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
• Sound knowledge of iOS development principles and best practices
• Desire to work in a fast paced, agile, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

At Foursquare, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry and market standards.  Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and specific office location.

The annual total cash compensation range is $124,000 - $204,250, however actual salaries can vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies, as well as location. 

Salary is just one component of Foursquare’s total compensation package, which includes restricted stock units, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits!
