Senior iOS Developer (Swift/Objective-C)

Full-Time Remote

Jalasoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer with a strong background in Swift and Objective-C to join our talented mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced iOS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will utilize your extensive experience in mobile development to drive innovation and improve user experiences on our iOS platforms. Requirements

iOS Development & Architecture

  • Expert in Swift and Objective-C
  • Experience migrating Objective-C code to Swift
  • Expertise in iOS frameworks such as Core Data, AVFoundation, Core Animation, WebKit, etc.
  • Experience with offline storage, multi-threading, background processing, and performance tuning
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools like Instruments
  • Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

Integration & Connectivity

  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services
  • Experience with remote push notifications
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

Development Processes & Collaboration

  • Proficient understanding of Git and GitHub, with experience in continuous integration strategies (CI/CD experience a plus)
  • Ability to analyze large features and implement practical solutions
  • Ability to work well in teams, communicate clearly, and collaborate respectfully
  • Results-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of engineers

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience building applications for Android
  • Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (Maui, React Native)
  • Experience with mobile applications that handle large datasets and significant file storage
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) integrations
  • Experience in mobile observability and instrumentation
