Content Development & Instructional Design
- Design and create innovative training content for urgent, high impact, and/or complex projects using various modalities and advanced development tools.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to instructional design and learning technologies.
- Provide consultative support for other instructional designers to ensure appropriate and innovative use of learning technology as well as universal accessibility.
- Perform risk/reward analysis and appropriate testing for new and innovative digital learning solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex publishing and reporting issues based on SCORM, xAPI, LMS and authoring tool compatibility.
- Enable learning solutions with custom HTML, Java and xAPI scripting to enhance learning interactions and reporting outputs.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of all digital learning tools and provide recommendations for enhancements and integrations that enhance learning experiences.
Stakeholder Management
- Present ongoing project(s) to key stakeholders, and incorporate revisions as they are received.
- Provide consultative guidance to clients design & development decisions.
- Stay up to date on instructional design best practices
Coaching
- Mentor and take initiative to share best practices with more junior developers regarding development tools, templates, and GL&D processes.
- Set the standard for junior developers in terms of output quality, providing guidance and feedback
You’ll Need to Have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study
- Six or more years relevant experience.
- Four or more year of work experience in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and xAPI scripting
- Four or more years of work experience utilizing scripting languages and technologies to enhance SCORM based content (HTML, JAVA & xAPI scripting)
- Experience in Content Validation (course testing)
- Experience authoring content in Articulate Storyline 360 & Rise
- Knowledge on ,Adult Learning / Instructional Design principles such as such as ADDIE or SAM.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems
- Previous project management experience
- Experience troubleshooting problems in content development tools and Learning Management Systems.
- Willingness to work on nigh shift (US working hours) schedule.
