The Kubernetes Infrastructure Development team at Wargaming is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help us build an internal infrastructure platform. As a part of the team, you will develop and maintain the internal infrastructure that allows engineers to build and run various applications across multiple locations and cloud providers. We help keep the sustainability of global services and operations of all our games and connect us to our 100 million+ audience.

Design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that align with client requirements. Ensure your designs prioritize scalability, reliability, security, and performance
Develop and maintain the Wargaming Kubernetes Platform as well as contributing to various internal and open-source projects
Write and maintain GO code for interchange within Kubernetes API and internal systems
Deploy, manage and cover troubleshooting of our Kubernetes services as well as other OS or network related issues
Maintain availability, performance, security, reliability of our services and parts of the infrastructure around them at all stages of their service life cycle
Support and develop a large amount of automation for the builds, deployment and other processes required for our services
Participate in a rotating on-call duties schedule. Provide support and assistance to other Wargaming teams in the scope of related services and duties
5+ years of proven experience as an infrastructure engineer, platform engineer or similar role
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Expertise in building large scale, high volume, secure, efficient, and resilient operations environments
Strong knowledge of GO programming language
Knowledge of Kubernetes API, libraries (eg. controller-runtime, etc) and third-party tooling (Helm, ArgoCD, ClusterAPI)
Practical skills of developing APIs and cloud infrastructure services
The skills in building and maintaining cloud services (CI/CD, observability, scaling, troubleshooting)
Working experience of Linux systems, Networking and Databases
Practical skills of applying the automation tools (for example Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
Working experience for applying various monitoring systems (for example Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Zabbix)
Excellent communication, collaboration/negotiation skills and experience of presentations to the audience/groups
Contribution to CNCF ecosystem projects
English upper-intermediate or higher
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
Experience with VMWare vSphere
Experience in debugging applications at the system and network level
Experience in making decisions with minimal supervision
The salary range for this position is 6000–10000 € (gross) per month.
Note that this salary range is valid for Lithuania, for other locations it might be different.
