This role would suit a candidate with a technical background coupled with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
As an Implementation Engineer, you’ll primarily be responsible for guiding customer technical teams in their integration with Yapily APIs, ensuring a strong understanding of the client’s requirements and implementing a solution tailored to their use case. You will also be responsible for supporting Sales and bridging the gap between technical expertise and client engagement. This role will require close collaboration with Customer Success, Product, or Engineering Teams. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: leading implementation workshops, answering technical questions, supporting sales with product demos, conducting build reviews, becoming an expert around the Yapily API.

Requirements
We’d love you to have:
- Experience in:
- Experience with API integration, implementation, or Open Banking frameworks
- Understanding Clients’ use cases and advise most suitable integration practices
- Managing the full implementation cycle end-to-end, to the point they launch
- Mastering Yapily’s APIs and technologies and become the go-to resource for any technical questions
- Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving technical issues
- Helping our clients speed adoption and ensure best practices during implementation
- Collaborating in various additional projects such as maintaining our API documentation
- Comfortable in delivering technical presentations & product demonstrations to prospective clients
- This role requires you to be able to legally work in Lithuania without sponsorship.
What we expect from you:
- Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Feel comfortable or be able to speak publicly in front of our clients
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise activities autonomously in the best interest of our clients
- Provide technical recommendations on how to orchestrate, test, optimise and understand prospective customers’ software builds
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple clients effectively
- Stay updated with Open Banking regulations, emerging technologies, and best practices
- Communicate important customer product feedback to Product Marketing, Product Management and Customer Success and Engineering teams
- Technical background either from education or work experience
- Strong understanding of REST APIs
We would love you to have:
- Understanding of one or more modern programming languages, such as Java, Python or JavaScript would be a plus.
- Familiarity with common back-end development practices and technologies
- Able to deliver inspiring and compelling software demos, solution presentations, & technical workshops, in showcasing the Yapily API
- Prior experience within fintech payments or Open Banking space
- Ability to speak one or more additional European language is desirable.
