Credit Karma is looking for a resourceful, tenacious and thoughtful Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our world class People team, as we continue to scale all things for our US Karmanauts. Our HRBPs are true business partners embedded and integrated into the functional teams they support; partnering with client managers to support their people's needs and deliver results. In this role you will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing employee experience.
What you'll do:
- Act as the key, dedicated Human Resource point of contact for our US Teams, and be a trusted advisor to a highly engaged, supported workforce
- Advise people managers on people-related strategy and decisions aligned with business goals (including organizational design, planning, employee relations)
- Maintain ongoing rhythm of people programs working with clients through performance management, talent planning and recognition programs
- Assess employee development needs and make recommendations for supportive tools
- Maintain ongoing compensation administration, and total compensation analysis to support meaningful rewards strategy for talented Karmanauts
- Innovate on established practices and procedures, collaborate with small teams and/or co-lead various projects targeting improved employee experience at Credit Karma
- Partner with leadership on all things people - review and generate data, conduct analysis and provide insights, thought partnership and recommendations – real business partnering!
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of related experience in a fully-functional HR Business Partner role; ideally in a rapidly growing, high-demand, high-output role
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; or equivalent experience
- Previous HRBP alignment to Engineering or Technology Organizations
What we'd like to see:
- Strong knowledge of current state (CA, NC, & SC) and federal employment laws
- Strong technical/ analytical skills with an ability to manipulate data in Excel to influence the right outcomes for the business
- Demonstrated success in autonomously driving projects forward successfully to completion
- Strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organization issues
- Effective influencer skilled in listening and communicating clearly & concisely
- Ability to distill moderate to complex problems into digestible pieces with recommended paths forward for both business partners and team members
- Excellent problem solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently
- Skilled in effectively managing sensitive and confidential communications and materials, exercising judgment around containment and proper protocol
- PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred

Pay Transparency Notice: Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $195,00-$219,000, plus equity and benefits.
