Senior HR Specialist - Mandarin Speaking

We’re looking for an experienced HR specialist to join our team in Sydney! This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in HR while gaining exposure to employee relations, HR operations, and regional collaboration.

In this role, you’ll support the team in assisting in implementing people strategies, handling HR processes, and ensuring a positive employee experience across different regions. This role is perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to develop their expertise in HR operations and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing HR strategies that align with global and local business objectives.
  • Support senior HR partners in providing guidance on talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Help manage and monitor the performance review process, tracking feedback and progress across regions.
  • Provide support in handling employee relations cases, such as grievances and disciplinary actions, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assist in communication and planning for organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for employees.
  • Help improve ER processes, policies, and systems across various regions.
  • Gather and analyze ER data to provide insights for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international employment laws, assisting with contracts and policies. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR support, employee relations, or administrative HR functions.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
