As Senior Growth Executive, you will play a pivotal role in scaling PayMongo’s operations by acquiring new merchants, managing key accounts, and negotiating partnerships that maximize revenue and profit margins. Your expertise in gross profit optimization, project management, and strategic decision-making will ensure PayMongo’s growth trajectory remains strong.
You will be responsible for:
- Sales & Acquisition: Lead the effort to identify and secure new high-potential merchants, particularly in sectors like e-commerce, travel, food & beverage, and digital services.
- Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, identifying upselling opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that margin optimization is factored into all merchant agreements.
- Expansion & Partnerships: Drive business expansion by forming strategic partnerships with financial institutions and technology platforms. Negotiate deals that enhance PayMongo’s market share while optimizing gross profit margins for long-term sustainability.
- Project Management: Lead growth initiatives by managing multiple projects from inception to execution. Ensure timelines are met and that projects align with business objectives across sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Negotiation & Profit Optimization: Leverage negotiation skills to maximize profit margins on all deals and agreements. Implement strategies to optimize gross profit by adjusting terms, pricing models, and transaction fees to favor PayMongo’s bottom line.
- Problem-Solving & Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze transaction volumes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize margins and accelerate growth.
- Tools & Technology: Use Google Suite and other project management tools to analyze data, manage communication, and streamline sales processes.
You may be a fit if:
- You have at least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, customer acquisition, or account management, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or digital payments.
- You demonstrate strong negotiation skills with experience in optimizing gross profit margins and closing high-value deals.
- You have prior experience with project management, including leading cross-functional teams and delivering growth initiatives on time.
- You thrive with the challenges of solving problems, analyzing data, and optimizing processes to drive revenue growth.
- You are digital proficient with various productivity tools such as Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for project tracking, data analysis, and presentation.
