About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and Senior Group Finance Manager to work closely with our CFO and Controller. This role involves managing accounting, statutory compliance, and tax operations for our entities in Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, Portugal, and the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organised, dependable, and capable of handling responsibilities with minimal oversight.
Key responsibilities for all companies
● Ensure reliable accounting and timely monthly financial reporting & also be responsible for finance forecasting and analysis.
● Conduct month-end closing reviews and enforce control measures;
● Streamline and automate financial processes for maximum efficiency;
● Lead, supervise, and motivate the finance team;
● Oversee external service providers to facilitate seamless financial operations;
● Ensure compliance with both group and local financial reporting standards
● Manage general accounting, statutory, VAT, corporate income tax, and wage tax compliance with local tax regulations;
● Contribute to strategic projects;
● Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisers, and legal consultants;
