We, at Flywire, are looking for a strategic minded Senior Global Enterprise Account Manager in the United Kingdom. This position reports directly into the Director of Global Enterprise Accounts and serves an existing portfolio of key enterprise education accounts. The Global Enterprise Account Team at Flywire is responsible for managing relationships with our enterprise level, global clients with high value potential. As part of our Global Enterprise Account team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for expansion within your portfolio of accounts through the implementation of key account management best practices. You will aim to continuously improve and expand our relationships within your accounts in an effort to grow and retain the value of these partnerships for Flywire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in growing the success of our GEA portfolio in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the strategy to grow and protect a portfolio of Flywire’s Global Enterprise Accounts in the UK/Europe (approximately 3-5 accounts)
  • Gain a clear understanding of clients goals at an organizational, departmental and individual level and ensure these are documented in strategic account plans
  • Project manage strategic account plans and execution of strategic initiatives to achieve our clients’ business goals
  • Consult with your clients on win:win solutions to achieve their business goals while also generating value for Flywire
  • Map Flywire’s wallet share of existing payment flow and unearth new opportunities for Flywire products and services, owning the end-to-end upsell, working with Technical Sales support as required
  • Meticulously organize and prioritize to ensure momentum on revenue driving activities
  • Manage proposal writing, contract negotiations and renewals
  • Capture an in depth knowledge of client’s operations including student lifecycle and payer journey
  • Oversee deployment of Flywire assets working alongside Implementation and Client Success teams
  • Lead an internal account team, ensuring there is a clear understanding of what we are trying to achieve with a client and escalating support requests or issues as appropriate
  • Ability to digest and convey complex industry related information/best practices and, in doing so, become a trusted advisor to the client
  • Create a cadence of client connections across function and department to keep a pulse on the client and their key stakeholders, managing any risks which may arise, and documenting engagement through stakeholder mapping 
  • Serve as a senior member of the GEA Team and mentor other Account Managers on key account management strategies and best practices
  • Provide expertise and insight to leadership on the UK/European market and play a key role in identifying new growth opportunities in the region and building pipeline for the portfolio

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in enterprise client/account management or sales, preferably in a global or multinational organization
  • Experience in consultative sales; the ability to build rapport quickly, identify and diagnose business problems, demonstrate products remotely, or in person, and meet the specific customer needs with effective solutions
  • A natural project manager, organizing the process of capturing revenue from the account; Comfortable coordinating the plan, the people on the team, and making sure everything gets done
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior executives
  • Very strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to professionally handle client issues and problem solve to implement win, win solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
