Senior Generative AI Software Engineer

Job description

The Senior Generative AI Engineer, reporting to the Head of AI/ML Innovation, will work with the Generative AI team to accelerate Experian's impact by bringing together data, technology, and data science to build game-changing products and services for our customers. We are looking for a Generative AI Engineer, Sr., to help develop our specialized Generative AI Models in integration with Consumer Services products. You'll develop our generative AI models with existing software teams building products

You will

• You will develop a scalable framework for developing specialized Generative AI models
• You can develop scalable pipelines, tools, and services for building production-ready Generative AI models
• You will work with our data engineers, ml engineers, and software engineers to pilot our products with beta customers
• Maintain our culture of simple, streamlined code and full CI/CD automation
• Develop simple, streamlined, and well-tested ML pipeline components

• 5+ years of experience working with machine learning or generative AI libraries such as Langchain, llamaindex, Langsmith, and llamaguard
• Open source Foundation models: llama3, llama2, mistral, falcon, phi, dbrx, arctic, Bert
• Off-the-shelf models: GPT, Claude, Gemini
• Embedding models: nomic, ada, bge, e5
• Orchestration Frameworks: mlflow, airflow
• Extensive experience working with retrieval augmented generation and supporting databases/libraries such as: Vector databases: chromadb, pgvector, qdrant, pinecone, weaviate, and milvus
• Chunking algorithms/strategies
• Embedding models/dimensions
• Advanced knowledge in Python/PySpark and SQL
• Experience working in the Databricks AI Suite of products, particularly Mosaic branded products
• Familiarity with the AWS platform and services including CI/CD automation methods
• Experience with fine tuning LLMs or SLMs and working with large sets of data
