Role & Missions—What you will do 🚀

As the Senior Game Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our game experiences, guiding teams, and ensuring our products align with our vision. Your mission involves fostering collaboration, turning challenges into opportunities, and contributing to the success of our games through innovative design solutions.

Focusing on idle and tycoon games, your missions will be the following:

• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated on industry best practices, evolving technologies, and gaming trends to drive innovation and excellence in game design, while safeguarding our product vision against distractions.
• Team Cohesion and Development: Foster unity among Designers, Game Leads, and cross-functional teams, enabling seamless collaboration and productivity.
• Alignment with Product Strategy: Understand, propose, and execute solutions that align with our product strategy to drive its realization.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Turn limitations into learning opportunities, proactively managing risks during prototyping and post-launch phases.

Additional Tasks Include:

• Playing and analyzing mobile games and understanding their design, art, and technical aspects, enriching your design process with diverse references.
• Establishing collaborative processes among Artists, Developers, and cross-functional teams, improving workflows and documentation.
• Being accountable for the design aspects of our products, ensuring stickiness, marketability, monetization potential, and content consumption align with objectives.
• Mentoring and managing Designers to foster a culture of feedback, and recruit suitable profiles when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the game development industry, with a strong understanding of mobile game market trends and success metrics.
• Strong track record in idle/tycoon games
• Ability to analyze games, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and applying insights to enhance game experiences.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to design challenges and a user-centric game development mindset.
• Proficiency in offering and receiving constructive feedback, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with scripting languages or a basic understanding, accompanied by a portfolio showcasing released games as a Game Designer.
• Fluency in English, French is a plus
