Senior Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular)

We are looking for a Middle Database Administrator to join our international team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, protecting, operating, and maintaining client databases.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
Extensive knowledge of SQL tools
Experience in Database Performance, Development and Maintenance
In-depth understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring requirements
Familiarity with relational and dimensional data modeling
Extensive knowledge in database design, implementation and conversion
Knowledge of scripts such as Shell, PowerShell and Unix preferred
Experience with SSAS, SSIS and SSRS
Desirable market certifications for Oracle and SQL Server databases
Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows Server infrastructures
Extensive knowledge of database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB)
Experience with cloud services (AWS required, Azure preferred)
Document routine database administration activities
Support big data ETL activities on the operating platform, as well as creating and modifying database administration reports
Integrate a database with corporate applications
Develop SQL statements (T-SQL/PL-SQL) to participate in database administration activities

Responsibilities:

Create and configure new bank instances, including availability groups and failover clustering
Facilitate brainstorming meetings to review, analyze and evaluate systems and business needs
Responsible for database backup and recovery methods, database access security and integrity, physical data storage design, and data storage administration
Assists in selecting a database management system and maintaining database performance
Participate in continuous process improvement
Download and install service packs and database updates.
Configure and maintain SQL security controls
Make recommendations for the system architecture in accordance with the best practices of the platform for which it operates
Manage database backup and recovery, as well as disaster recovery planning, in a meaningful way with time management
Create, change and improve database maintenance tasks and plans
Proactively monitor database maintenance tasks, troubleshooting failed processes and resolving issues as quickly as possible
Analyze and troubleshoot database slowness and low performance
Responsible for analyzing and configuring SQL queries
Responsible for database migrations and server updates
