In your role, you will have a high degree of flexibility to shape a fast growing product from the ground up, working in a high profile cross-functional team and launching new features at a fast pace.
As a [Senior Full-Stack Engineer], you will design and develop core product features and services that power our innovative Meetings & Events solution used by thousands of users across the globe.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, launch and evolve the core backend and frontend of the Meetings & Events platform in a scalable and reliable way
- Ensure the quality of the features you built, following-up on usage and issues post release
- Contribute and drive frameworks that lead to significant user experience improvements
- Be the Subject Matter Expert of the domain under your ownership
- Assist the team in understanding and adopting new technologies
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams
- Understand technical dependencies with other parts of the wider organization
- Assist the leadership to identify, plan, and execute the long-term vision
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in BE development using Java
- 3+ years of experience in FE development using Angular, typescript, and React
- Prior experience working at startups and/or on user-facing applications plus ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
- Domain expertise in the travel industry is a plus
- Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate or similar ORM technologies is a plus
- Experience with AWS and/or distributed systems is a plus
- Track record of ownership demonstrated through shipping production-quality code equipped with testing, monitoring and documentation
- Passion for investigating and solving problems and willingness to learn and utilize new tools and technologies
- Team player with strong communication
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
