Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development and significant experience with SAML for identity and access management. This role will be critical in designing, developing, and maintaining our platform infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure platform solutions across the full technology stack.
  • Implement and manage SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity federation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and resolve bugs.
  • Ensure platform security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our platform.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and/or related coursework.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proven experience with SAML for identity management and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
  • Proficiency in Python for back-end development.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL for database management and data modeling.
  • Strong front-end development skills, including JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience supporting a heavily trafficked production-level environment 
  • Proactive attitude with minimal follow-up required on requirements and tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FusionAuth for authentication and identity management.
  • Proficiency in C# for application development.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform for infrastructure management.
  • Experience with authoring Github Actions deployment scripts.
  • Familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORMs for database interactions.
  • Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, or other authentication protocols.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $165,000, with the actual base salary amount dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s credentials, relevant experience, and primary job location. In addition to salary this role may be eligible for additional company benefits such as stock options, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, and medical/dental/vision insurance.
