Senior Full Stack Engineer, Smart Answering AI

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer with MERN Stack and SQL expertise to join our growing team. This role will focus on building out the tooling needed to take our Smart Answering AI product to market. The ideal candidate has a passion for AI and is a self-starter with a strong work ethic. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and be a key player in developing innovative solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on scalability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and develop new features
• Develop and maintain SQL databases, optimizing and improving data structures as necessary
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to AI and web development
• Contribute to the growth of the team by mentoring more junior members

We would love to hear from you if:

• You have 8 to 12 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer
• You possess expertise in MERN Stack, including MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js
• You have extensive experience with SQL, including data modeling and optimization
• You have an in-depth understanding of AI principles and can integrate AI into web applications
• You can write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can work effectively in a team environment
• You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or have equivalent work experience

We’d be incredibly excited to hear from you if you are proficient in Python and C++.  

This role is available throughout Canada. Employees within a 100-kilometer radius of Toronto are expected to work from our downtown Toronto office three scheduled days each month to encourage connection and in-person collaboration. Aside from these “core days,” virtual/remote, hybrid, and in-office workplace settings are all options.
