Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP/Yii + React, Vue, or Angular)

FinanceScout24 & Moneyland are your Swiss digital partners for Finance and Insurance topics. With the motto “As digital as possible, as personal as desired”, we developed a great range of web applications and micro services that enable customers to compare and directly contract vehicle and home insurances, as well as personal credits.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, test and deliver new features that bring value to our users
• Gather & refine business requirements and provide technical guidance on how to implement them
• Pair program with the team to solve more challenging problems
• Ensure the quality, performance, and maintainability of our frontend & backend code
• Be part of a cross-functional team that follows agile development using SCRUM and XP practices (TDD, Pair programing, Refactoring, Simple design)
• Leverage your technical and interpersonal skills in facilitating collaboration between teams

• Proven experience as a full stack developer with expertise in PHP and the Yii framework, as well as with either of these JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with any additional modern JavaScript framework is considered as a plus
• Strong software development practices (test automation, architecture, clean code)
• Desire to take ownership and ability to thrive on that
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Curiosity in learning new technologies and methodologies
• Experience in working in agile and interdisciplinary teams
• Great communication skills, in both written and verbal form
• Good command of spoken and written English
