About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in building our SaaS platform, a critical component of our company's growth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in both enhancing and evolving the platform.

You will work closely with product managers and stakeholders to shape the platform’s architecture and features, ensuring they address business challenges and drive value.

You will be deeply involved in maintaining and optimizing the existing system, developing new features, and collaborating with other engineering teams that leverage platform data to process business operations. Your ability to understand and address business needs with tailored solutions will be key to the platform’s continued success and relevance. 

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand the requirements for our new SaaS platform and contribute to its definition and roadmap.
  • Drive cross-team projects from inception to rollout, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and other relevant teams. Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Lead the design and development of new features for the SaaS platform, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and other engineers, to deliver a cohesive and high-quality software solution.
  • Implement and advocate for best coding practices, including code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Design strategies to simplify and optimize the architecture of the new platform, reducing technical debt and improving maintainability.
  • Research and evaluate third-party tools and services to streamline development processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance platform capabilities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and refactoring processes, ensuring knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

About you

  • Proficient with React.js and Node.js
  • Strong knowledge of backend development (APIs, databases) and frontend development (responsive design, state management).
  • Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Applying and propagating software design patterns and best practices.
  • Comfortable with writing unit / end-to-end / integration tests, and an active problem-solver.
  • Team player and good communication skills to work effectively with other teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working within a global team, as well as the English language.
