Senior Full Stack Engineer, Developer Experience Team

The developer experience team is responsible for building and maintaining tools for use by engineers within Collective Health. We are looking for a full stack engineer who enjoys building tools to improve the lives of other engineers. You will have the opportunity to work with both frontend and backend engineers to build tooling that improves the experience across the stack. We use a variety of languages such as Java, Go, TypeScript, and JavaScript in the company.

What you'll do:

  • Design and Develop Components for Healthcare Eco-systems/Integration Engineering (integrate external systems and partners)
  • Design and Develop Enterprise software solutions that will solve critical business problems, are scalable, secure, easy to maintain, and interact with several internal and external applications
  • Provide recommendations and best practices for application development, platform development, and developer tools
  • Provide technical leadership and be a role model for other team members pursuing technical career path in engineering
  • Generate creative ideas for emerging business needs for Collective Health

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Core Skills:
    • 4+ years experience building software using languages such as Java, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
    • Experience with a scripting language such as Bash or Python
    • Experience with a frontend framework such as React, Angular, Vue
    • Experience deploying cloud-native applications to Kubernetes
  • Desired Skills:
    • Experience with Spring Boot
    • Experience with React
    • Experience with building CI/CD systems
    • Experience building libraries and tools used by other engineers

Pay Transparency Statement 

This is a hybrid position based out of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT, with the expectation of being in office at least three weekdays per week. #LI-hybrid

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
