Role Overview
As a full stack developer for Coupang Play platform, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development process of designing, developing, implementing, and deploying both backend and frontend software components for our complex web applications. Your daily responsibilities will center around comprehensively grasping product requirements and adeptly translating them into scalable and efficient solutions.
What You Will Do
- Build and deliver new user facing features to enhance the user experience
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, UI/UX and Infrastructure teams
- Drive best practice by writing reusable, modular, testable code and libraries
- Identify problems and improve applications for performance and scalability
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in building client-side and server-side applications, and proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Deep knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases, excellent skills in Database schema design
- Good understanding of modern web frameworks and technologies (such as Node.js, ReactJS, Remix, Nest.js, REST, and/or WebSocket) and development methodologies (TDD, CI/CD)
- Passionate about solving real customer problems using interactive web applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing large scale cloud-based applications
- Experience working with distributed systems, micro-services, as well as large-scale data systems
- Ability to develop, maintain and evolve cloud infrastructure for web applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
