MyTraffic is looking for a senior frontend developer for our web team, whose mission is to build a platform that allows clients to use data effectively and take strategic decisions. You will be part of a team of 12 developers split into 2 feature squads, and you will report to the engineering manager, Yann. It is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the company, creating value for the clients and strengthening our leading market position.

As a Senior frontend developer you will be responsible for:
- Taking leadership of delivering roadmap items that bring value to Mytraffic clients 
- Working closely with a team composed of a Product Manager, a Lead Dev and multiple developers
- Building evolutions in our frontend applications, delivering it to production and maintaining it
- Joining the team on our quest to continuously improve the way we work, organizing training and sharing good practices
- Following team KPIs, being proactive in consolidating the platform and ensure its quality

You will get the chance to work on our technical stack:
- ReactJS et TypeScript for the frontend,
- backed by a strong set of automated tests Django and the Python framework for the backend
- PostgreSQL for our application database, and Snowflake for our BI data structures
- Heroku and Docker environments for our platform infrastructure

🎯 Objectives :

Own the development process from start to finish: from requirement to delivery, Mytraffic developers own the whole process. They provide value consistently and are the first responsible for the quality of their development.

Test, test, test: We have high expectations on automated testing, with 90%+ unit test coverage, integration and end-to-end test platforms… which help us maintain application quality in the long run.

Continuously improves: You participate in reflections and designs with Product managers and other stakeholders. You report existing problems and propose solutions, you consistently improve and help others, whether via reading code and pull requests, or during internal workshops and training sessions.

Build durable and evolutive applications: You are not afraid to question our processes and technical choices. You also participate in the 30% of time that is allocated to the team for internal tech projects (performance improvements, new tools, regular tech debt cleaning…)

- You have at least 5 years experience in technologies and constraints similar to ours.
- You are passionate about web development, you like building challenging web applications with a strong user impact.
- You have a proven track record of growing organizations, mentoring ICs and transmitting good practices. 
- You are able to build complex and evolutive frontend applications, you know how to anticipate future problems on that subject.
- You know how to build constructive criticism, with arguments of architecture and design decisions.
- You have the capacity to give relevant opinions on important organizational decisions such as new processes, methodologies…
- You have excellent communication skills and you can clearly express your thoughts, recommendations and opinions to team members, product and business teams.
- You are opened to feedback and always enjoy improving personally

⚙️ Our process

1️⃣ 30 minutes call with Dorine, our Talent Acquisition Manager.
2️⃣ 30 minutes call with Yann, our Engineering Manager.
3️⃣ 2h hours on-site interview with 2 developers in order to test your development and architecture skills.
4️⃣ 45 minutes  “value fit” interview with 2 other persons, including 1 Product Manager.
5️⃣ A 30 minutes final call with David, our CTO.
