Senior Front End Software Engineer - R&D IT service management

This role is within the IFS Enterprise Service Management Business Unit. The goal of IFS ESM is to recreate ITSM for the world of distributed working and citizen developers. We're taking traditional IT service management (ITSM) to the next level, offering employees across the entire enterprise the opportunity to work better and smarter.

We are in a process of expanding the capabilities of the IFS assyst product including replacing the current front-end with a modern, intuitive user interface built using the latest technology.

We are looking for an experienced, and talented Front End Software Engineer to implement robust and performant UI solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams with other developers, testers and UI/UX designers. They will implement UI designs as responsive and accessible web application components and pages.

This is a Full time permanent role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or professional qualifications and 5+ years of work experience in developing production enterprise applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Typescript and the Angular Typescript framework. (Version 9 or later).
• Extensive web development experience using JavaScript, HTML and SCSS.
• Proficiency with browser debuggers and profilers.
• Great team player, with the ability to collaborate closely with designers, developers and testers in an Agile environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in implementing performant, data-driven and responsive web interfaces for desktop computers and touch devices.
• Experience creating custom Angular components.
• Familiarity with the Angular Material component library.
• Experience working on large-scale Java enterprise applications and RESTful APIs.
