About the Team
This role will join Xero's Subscription & Billing team, we collect over a billion dollars of revenue every year. Our vision is to be the billing product for Xero that scales quickly, integrates easily, enables insights while delighting customers with a beautiful self service experience.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Engineer with a strong lean towards front-end technologies. Whilst front-end components would be a big part of your day to day, you'll need to be comfortable working on .NET applications and the technologies that surround them.
What you'll bring:
- Knowledge of web fundamentals and best practices: semantic HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
- Awareness and experience in these aspects of web development: testing, build tooling, performance, responsive design, security, accessibility, localisation
- Experience building and maintaining complex web applications, preferably in React + Redux
- Confident in upgrading tooling and technology underlying products
- Able to implement resilient software design patterns
- Knowledge of what makes a good API, be it a function, a component, or a web service
