Senior Fraud Risk Analyst

Join us as a Senior Fraud Risk Analyst in our Compliance Team. In this crucial role, you will be at the forefront of protecting our platform from fraudulent activities, employing advanced analytical tools and strategies to detect and prevent fraud. Your dedication to maintaining a secure and compliant financial environment will be key to our continued success.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Senior Fraud Risk Analyst:

  • Design, implement and execute controls, monitoring systems and tools to detect suspicious activities, patterns and mitigate digital fraud in real-time utilizing advanced analytics and fraud detection techniques.
  • Monitor fraudulent activities, assess the effectiveness of existing controls to identify areas for improvement and optimize fraud prevention strategies.
  • Provide guidance on fraud-related aspects to the team
  • Lead investigations into suspected fraudulent activities
  • Provide regular reports and visibility on fraud risk metrics, trends, and incidents, experience in reporting to management
  • Closely monitor fraud risk performance, utilize data analytics.
  • Taking additional responsibilities when needed delegated by the manager.

Here’s what we’d love from our new Senior Fraud Risk Analys:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in fraud risk, compliance, or related roles in the payments area.
  • Strong understanding of digital fraud detection techniques and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify patterns indicative of fraudulent activity.
  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data from various sources.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced spreadsheet tools (including pivot tables and complex formulas), Tableau, and proficiency in any querying language (such as SQL).
  • Experience in rules creation, rules engine management.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience in launching Card, Wallet controls is a plus.

And if you can also have this stuff, even better: 

  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics tools, fraud detection software, and data visualization techniques to enhance fraud detection capabilities.
  • Experience in identifying and investigating unusual patterns or deviations from normal behavior.

The gross monthly salary for this position ranges from 3,200 EUR to 4,500 EUR, depending on experience.
