The Point of Sale (POS) team is newly formed and is tasked with building innovative backend systems for restaurants and retailers. POS systems are crucial in modern retail and restaurant environments, often serving as the core system around which all other technologies integrate. This project is in its early stages, offering an opportunity to work from concept to launch. As part of an innovation stream, you’ll be working on a backend system to create a product that scales globally.
This is a high-autonomy role with a focus on experimentation, and problem-solving. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, analysts, and designers, and you will have exposure to C-level leadership who will fully invest in the project’s success.
The team will initially consist of 6 engineers, and you’ll have the chance to shape its future, bringing your vision and technical expertise to a greenfield environment.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for creating the backend systems that power our POS solution for merchants. You’ll design, build, and maintain highly available systems, ensuring scalability and seamless integration with other core services.
Your role will require an ability to handle ambiguity and rapid changes while maintaining a focus on quality and high performance. This is a unique opportunity to work on a new product that will significantly impact how merchants operate.
