Senior FinTech Analyst

The opportunity

Unity is currently seeking a passionate Fintech Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology team in IT. This position will have close interaction with the revenue accounting team and will be primarily responsible for ensuring the proper application of the revenue recognition standards, process improvements and revenue automations in Unity’s Revenue and Finance Applications.

This is a hybrid position based in our Bangalore office.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with Revenue Accounting team to ensure revenues for all segments are accurately recorded, reported in accordance with revenue standards
• Own end-to-end accounting automations for revenue workstreams and support internal and external audit process including preparing audit schedules, gathering supporting documentation for walkthroughs and testing, preparing/reviewing internal control steps Identify opportunities for automation and elimination of existing manual processes
• Improving monthly and annual close activities and resolving issues as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues in FP&A to enhance variances, forecasting processes.
• Support ongoing implementation and testing efforts related to financial systems (Workday, , Zuora Revenue, Salesforce CPQ/Billing, etc.)

What we're looking for

• Experience in Zuora Revenue (RevPro) with Record to Report, Order to Cash processes implementation
• Experience with ERP Systems, especially in Workday/NetSuite. Workday Financials Reporting and Revenue Management experience.
• Experience with third-party close solutions (Blackline, Floqast) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

You might also have

• Proficiency in multiple business processes:  (OTC, GL, FA, Budgeting, Cash Management, etc)
• Understanding of accounting principles (e.g. GAAP), including the new revenue standard (ASC 606) and revenue recognition for SaaS
• Other leading Cloud based SaaS financial application implementation experience: (Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, etc.)
