About the role
We are seeking a Senior Finance Specialist-Financial Reporting for our HQ Finance team based in Taipei.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the financial statements are correct and complete creating the basis for a clean audit trail – with proper substantiation and specification. Strong knowledge of / experience with applicable accounting rules in relation to IFRS and understanding of related processes,being able to proceed with the indirect and direct tax obligations is crucial in this role.
- Audit Coordination- Prepare / assist in supporting documentation for statutory audit and income tax return compliance, including CIT filling and complete quarterly tests.
- Assisting management as required on any tasks and projects, streamline compliance process and ad hoc tasks to support business.
About you
[Essential]
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Degree in related field with at least 4 years with minimum 3 years’ audit experience in Big 4 or equivalent accounting experience in an international business environment.
- Good computer literacy (Ms Office, Google Suite)
- Personal skills:- Good analytical, communicative, and social skills. Professional and ambitious attitude. Result oriented, team player with a big sense of responsibilities- Capable of co-working with team members while maintaining higher level overview- Ability to build relationships with colleagues in others of non-financial departments
- Fluent in written & spoken English and Chinese
[Nice to have]
- Experience in using Oracle system is a plus
- Fluency in Japanese is a plus
- CPA certification is a plus
