Primary Function of Position
The Senior Analyst works closely with marketing and sales leadership to perform detailed analyses for the commercial organization and proactively provides strategic insights and guidance to senior executives. There is significant interaction with commercial executives as well as cross-functional work across commercial finance, training, marketing, and our Asia sales operations teams. This is a highly analytical role involving the manipulation of large data sets, requires a keen understanding of sales and marketing concepts, and the ability to communicate and develop meaningful work relationships with multiple executive business partners.
Essential Job Duties
- Serve as a business consultant for Asia Marketing and Sales leadership
- Develop models and dashboards to track new product launches and the impact of marketing programs and initiatives
- Develop, articulate, and defend analytical positions
- Support customer data capture and analytics for major marketing tradeshows and events
- Provide detailed and actionable analysis to the marketing and sales organizations to drive performance
- Provide analytics and ROI around peer-to-peer learning initiatives, including surgeons who perform case observations, proctoring events, and mentor/epicenter sites
- Develop tools and dashboards that highlight opportunity and enable our capital sales team to more effectively sell da Vinci technology
- Participate with cross functional-teams to investigate and resolve operational issues
- Provide early insights regarding market trends and the resultant strategic/business model impact Utilize SQL and Tableau to query CRM, Customer Service, and Finance databases
- Work with Executive commercial leadership to develop board-level presentation materials
- Use analytical skills to verify or dispel anecdotal insights
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Masters degree preferred)
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience
- Critical thinking Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include the ability to interact with executive leadership
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to support and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
