About the Role
Key member of the Solutions Finance team with responsibility for the Kroger partnership. Working closely with the Kroger cross-functional account team (based in Cincinnati) to drive profitable growth for Kroger and for Ocado.
Ocado’s cross-functional account team for Kroger, Solutions Finance team, Solutions North America President, broader Technology Solutions business and finance teams.
What you will be doing
- Overall Finance responsibility for the Kroger partnership, working closely with the Kroger account management team. This will include:
- Ownership of Ocado’s financial performance with respect to the Kroger partnership, including financial and non-financial KPIs
- Detailed knowledge of Ocado’s commercial arrangements with Kroger, including fee arrangements, product pricing and contractual arrangements
- Detailed understanding of Kroger’s own financial performance and KPIs with respect to its OSP online operations at 8 Fulfillment Centers in Ohio, Maryland, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Illinois, Colorado and Michigan with two further FCs to go live during FY26
- This role will form a key part of the cross-functional account team supporting Kroger’s ‘Path to Profitability’ project. This will include being involved in the production and analysis of weekly/monthly performance vs the targets set for the project and providing detailed commentary to internal Ocado stakeholders, including operational leads, the account management team and Solutions leadership.
- Driving improvements in the financial performance of the Ocado Kroger partnership for both Ocado and for Kroger
- Maintaining strong relationships with the Kroger Finance team and Kroger leadership to provide analysis and insight of the Kroger financial performance and drive profitable growth for Kroger’s OSP online operations.
- Provide insight and challenge to drive decision-making and strategy development within the Kroger partnership, including proactively identifying risks and opportunities to drive business performance.
- Provide day to day Finance support, challenge and insight to the Kroger account management team
- Responsibility for all Finance areas with respect to Kroger, including budgets, forecasts and management commentary on monthly performance for the account management team and Solutions Leadership
- Work closely with the Solutions Finance team, including the Head of Finance - Partner Economics, to ensure that expertise in driving partner performance is incorporated within the approach to Kroger, and Kroger learnings are shared with the team.
