We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager of Cash Flow Forecasting who will be a key person in the consolidation and understanding of the daily, weekly, and monthly cash flows of the Group’s various entities. The role sits within the Treasury department and works closely with the Group Finance teams to ensure latest cash flow projections are aligned and factored into the financial planning of the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Weekly cash forecasting process:
Continuous development of reporting and variance analysis
As part of the Treasury team working closely with the other parts of finance and business to understand risks and opportunities.
Cash optimisation:
Identify opportunities to improve the liquidity of business.
Business decision support:
Provide analysis and support to commercial negotiations with suppliers with regards to payment timing and payment terms
Continuous improvement of the forecasting process for Merchandise Payments.
Partner with stock and supplier funding teams ensure alignment of forecasts in the planning processes.
Planning
Partner with planning team to ensure group forecasts are embedded into cash forecasts and any variances understood.
Provide challenge and insight as appropriate.
Understand and monitor cash initiatives.
External stakeholders
Provide analysis and support regarding cash reporting queries.
Ad hoc projects
Support on projects
The scope of the role will mean that you will have relationships with all areas of finance, the wider business, and key external stakeholders. The consolidated cash flows of the Group are affected by all areas of the business and as such you will be expected to communicate and influence to ensure the right outcome is achieved from a cash flow/liquidity perspective.
Ideally you will have some or all of the following:
· ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
· Experience of working in a treasury function
· Forecasting experience of complex scenarios
· Comfortable and confident when dealing with senior management
· A deep understanding of working capital management
· Proven successes of developing insightful reporting and analysis
· Able to work to tight deadlines and high levels of accuracy
· Confident, influential, be able to offer constructive challenge and build strong working relationships
