Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist

At the moment we are looking for someone outgoing, good with people and numbers, and of course with that keen eye to spot the difference. If accounting is your gig - we would like to hear from you! Working with accounting of various foreign entities, dealing with third-party vendors and outsourced partners - you never know where credits and debits will take you!

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist:

• General accounting and bookkeeping of TransferGo Group companies.
• Communication with external accountants in order to collect and provide them with necessary information.
• Timely preparation of payments to suppliers.
• Managing employee expenses and timely preparation of payments to employees. 
• Ensuring that monthly reports contain correct information. 
• Timely month-end reporting.
• Assistance in the preparation of information required for annual audits or other interested parties.
• Support for the FP&A & Reporting team with the budgeting process.
• Active participation in the process of integration of the new accounting system and related accounting procedures, including training and preparing for smooth accounting.
• Professional and proactive interaction with managers, colleagues, and counterparties across the world.

You’ll report to our Chief Accountant.

Here’s what we’d love from our new Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist:

• At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
• Be a proactive and attentive-to-detail team player
• Be willing to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Motivated self-developer and quick learners
• Fintech experience

Monthly salary from 2500 to 3200 EUR (gross) depending on the level of experience.
