Senior ETL Engineer - Snowflake

Job Summary 

As a Senior ETL Engineer (14750), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design, develop, and optimize complex ETL pipelines to support large-scale data processing and integration.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data models and transformation logic.
• Lead the design and architecture of data warehouse solutions ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Perform data profiling, quality checks, and validation to ensure data integrity across systems.

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications. 
• Professional/ Advanced English skills.
• +6 years of experience.
• Strong experience with ETL tools, particularly Fivetran.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, especially Pub/Sub and Cloud Composer.
• Proficiency in data pipeline maintenance, with the ability to quickly identify and fix breaks or failures.
• Experience migrating data pipelines from legacy systems to DBT.
• Ability to migrate Snowflake tasks into DBT for more efficient orchestration.
