Job Description:

Perform knowledge representation and reasoning with knowledge, knowledge graphing, knowledge/information extraction.
Work with discovery, data mining to infer personal state from multimodal mobile, wearable, or pervasive sensors (including audio/visual sensing).
Deploy machine learning models on resource constrained edge devices.
Apply world/domain knowledge in deep learning, NLP, data mining and data analytics.
Design and conduct experiments to test the operation of software systems, frequently using techniques from data science and machine learning.
Develop software in deep learning-based models in frameworks like PyTorch and Tensor Flow.
Collaborate with fellow research engineers to develop solutions to real problems, invent patents, and publish findings in top-tier AI conferences.
Deploy machine learning models on resource constrained edge devices.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in developing computer vision and machine learning techniques to leverage language, speech, and computer vision data
Implementing machine learning models and algorithms including integrating computer systems software for deep learning solutions
Evaluating and optimizing machine learning models including defining and implementing evaluation metrics
Skills must include testing computer software for deployment and infrastructure management for the AI Web solutions
- Testing tools for each development stack (Python and JavaScript) and deployment tools for Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Kubernetes and Docker
- Coordinating migration and integration of machine learning research work into real world products
- Developing experimental tools for technology development and evaluation

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $140,067 and $186,650 but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
