Job Summary
Aerospike is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the development and implementation of comprehensive management tools for our distributed database system. This position focuses on enhancing the operation of our database within large-scale enterprise environments. As a valued team member, you will be tasked with crafting tools for the effective management and administration of aerospike clusters, ensuring seamless integration into on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructures. Your contributions will be pivotal in managing the product's lifecycle—from design and development to testing—leveraging your proficiency in Golang, deep understanding of Kubernetes, and problem-solving skills. You will be integral in developing both Kubernetes and non-Kubernetes applications to streamline Aerospike's deployment and lifecycle management operations.
Required Skills
● A minimum of 4+ years of experience
● Strong programming skills in Golang
● Experience in developing Kubernetes applications
● Ability to work independently and as a team member
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Experience with source control systems such as Git
Bonus Skills
● Experience with distributed NoSQL databases.
● Skills in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform.
