We, as Plan-S, are Turkey’s largest private initiative in satellite and space technologies. With the aim of building the best team, being the bravest and most visionary, we are located in the most amazing location of the city, at the hearth of R&D.

We design and build small satellites for low-earth orbit, geostationary satellites, and even small spacecrafts for the moon and beyond. We offer our customers end-to-end satellite as a service solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the existing and new projects in terms of spacecraft flight software,
• Design and develop the software architecture of the spacecraft for different missions,
• Develop drivers and embedded codes for space-tech devices and sensors,
• Develop high-quality flight software codes and performing the development tests,
• Support systems and electronics engineers through the development life-cycle,
• Work with Board Support Packages (BSP), integration drivers and modules, testing and verification.

Requirements

• Minimum four years of experience in programming embedded systems in C++/ C and similar,
• General knowledge in digital electronics and Radio Frequency (RF) modules,
• Knowledge and experience in safety critical coding and software reliability,
• Knowledge and experience in real time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS) and Embedded Linux,
• General knowledge in telecommunications, modulation techniques and network architectures,
• Knowledge and experience in microcontrollers and SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB interfaces,
• Experience in CubeSat flight software development, Python, FPGA’s are desired requirements,
• Knowledge and experience in agile software development methods,
• Very good English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking,
• Initiative and proactivity to find the best and fastest ways to get the right decision.
