We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and oversee electrical power systems, including single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and circuitry designs. This role involves coordinating plant electrical system designs, reviewing vendor drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and fellow engineers.

Requirements

• Prepare and oversee electrical power system designs, including single-line diagrams, wiring and elementary diagrams, as well as layout and circuitry design.
• Coordinate designs and drawings for plant electrical systems to ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes.
• Review supplier drawings to confirm adherence to specifications, dimensional compatibility, and integration with assemblies and components.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and engineers to develop coordinated designs.
• Prepare construction documents, schedules, and specifications.
• Develop accurate and precise product designs that align with drafting and company standards.
• Conduct vendor design document reviews to ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Perform quality assurance checks on electrical and control detail engineering and design project deliverables.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering technology field.
• P.E. (Professional Engineering) License.
• 6-8 years of experience with an engineering consulting firm.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD design software.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to self-assess and maintain a high level of accuracy.
