Senior Electrical Designer 
Seurat is seeking a senior electrical designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical experience managing electrical documentation. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all electrical schematic documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy across all projects and designers.
  • Develop electrical templates to help provide consistency for electrical projects.
  • Develop manufacturing and assembly documentation templates.
  •  Accurately capture and maintain electrical and control schematics and panel layouts for complex systems using Solidworks Electrical & Solidworks.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or related. 
  • 5+ Years of relevant work experience. 
  • Experience with SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar CAD applications. 
  • Experience with control components, such as I/O modules, (safety) relays, power supplies, breakers, DIN rail components, etc.
  • Knowledge of electrical/controls redundant, fail-safe design practices.
  • Familiarity with CE certification requirements.
  • Familiarity with NFPA79, UL508A, or similar electrical standards.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic start-up environment managing competing priorities. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.S. degree in Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or related.
  • Strong background in Mechatronics.  
  • Experience with servo motors and feedback control systems. 
  • Familiarity with Beckhoff (Safety) PLC & EtherCAT I/O, Yaskawa or similar servo systems. 
  • Familiarity with PC-based / rack-mount control systems.
  • Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 languages, including safety.
