What’s the role?

As a Senior Analyst at RVU, your input will be crucial in supporting brand investment decisions across above-the-line and mid-funnel channels via robust measurement (econometrics, geo-tests, multi-touch attribution and brand tracking). Working closely with our econometrics, media and brand insights agencies, you will develop a comprehensive view of brand health and ROI, using these insights to produce clear recommendations.

You will create models & automated data reports to improve our understanding of how marketing channels impact each other across the whole funnel, from awareness to sales to retention, including mid-funnel & non-paid channels, adjusting the attribution strategy accordingly.

We are looking for an experienced analytical mind who will partner with our agency teams and internal analytics community to support the marketing effectiveness team on the investment recommendations to key stakeholders.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Conduct advanced econometric and statistical analysis to understand the impact of marketing activities on brand performance, in partnership with our econometrics agency.
  • Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to integrate analytical insights into brand strategies and campaign development.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviours, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and challenges for brand growth.
  • Develop and maintain brand performance dashboards and reports, manipulating data in its raw format and providing regular insights to guide marketing decisions.
  • Utilise a variety of data sources to create a comprehensive view of the brand's position in the market.
  • Develop and refine models for marketing mix optimization, customer segmentation, and brand equity measurement.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports, and present complex analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in brand analytics, econometrics, and marketing research techniques.
  • Monitor, report and diagnose trends in KPIs, automating wherever possible.
  • Communicate and present clearly to colleagues across marketing, commercial, finance and product.
  • Support the wider analyst community in developing a deeper understanding of brand analytics, more closely connecting brand and trading metrics.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency in Econometrics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a closely related field at an advanced level is desired for this position.
  • Extensive experience in marketing / brand analytics, particularly in econometrics / marketing effectiveness measurement (either at econometrics agency or brand/media effectiveness teams).
  • Experience working with marketing measurement tools (multi-touch attribution, media mix modelling, incrementality and matched-market testing, A/B testing, website analytics platforms).
  • Excellent SQL and data manipulation / wrangling skills; particularly in reference to Google BigQuery.
  • Experience in data visualisation and management related tools such as Tableau, Git, dbt etc.
  • Python (or R) coding experience to run MMM and advanced analytic models.
  • Strong business acumen and experience building complex operational & financial models, e.g., conducting ROI analysis, synthesising recommendations, and presenting to senior executives.
  • Pragmatism; understanding of when analysis is good enough to finish.
  • Knowledge of the energy, telecoms or price comparison industries is a bonus, but not a requirement.

You don’t need to tick off everything on this list - so don’t let that hold you back from applying. We want to make sure you’re learning plenty during your time with us!

Our commitment to you:
