Senior Diversity Attraction Manager

Primary Function of Position

Reporting to Intuitive’s Director of People Brand & Diversity Attraction with alignment to the Inclusion & Diversity team, the Senior Diversity Attraction Manager is focused on building an exceptional talent pipeline from underrepresented communities for consideration in Intuitive’s open roles.

We’re looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative professional who appreciates the interests and needs of diverse candidate populations and how to effectively engage them. You are adept at identifying, building and maximizing collaborations with internal partners and third-party organizations to source and hire talent with varied backgrounds, while working alongside a diversity talent attraction specialist to represent Intuitive at diversity and inclusion events, conferences, and career fairs.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop diversity talent acquisition strategy in alignment with enterprise Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) strategy
  • Design, gain buy-in for, and implement programs, events, and partnerships to drive a diverse candidate pipeline
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, professional associations and community organizations that advance our I&D talent strategy
  • Enhance the company's public image and brand as an inclusive employer through participation in community outreach, engagement activities and a dynamic social media presence on LinkedIn
  • Perform as primary point of contact for diversity talent acquisition programs and partnerships with Talent Acquisition, consulting with business leadership and other stakeholders as needed
  • Develop and deliver training programs for recruiters, sourcers and talent acquisition operations to ensure the talent pipelines the diversity attraction team cultivates are considered for Intuitive’s open roles
  • Partner with the people brand team to maximize reach and effectiveness of outbound campaigns and events, while building and fostering diverse talent communities
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for diversity hiring initiatives and regularly review progress
  • Create annual business plans to optimize investments and secure necessary resources, making intra-cycle adjustments as needed
  • Work collaboratively within a small team, extending to vendor resources and employee resource group volunteers
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about diversity trends, challenges, and opportunities in talent acquisition
  • Benchmark against industry best practices and competitors to continually improve Intuitive's diversity talent attraction strategies

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience with 3+ building reflective and effective diversity attraction strategies, from conception through execution
  • A proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with third-party organizations to cultivate new talent sources
  • Relevant work experience and a proven ability to help an organization build its reputation as a top workplace for diverse talent, with measurable KPIs and case study examples from past work
  • Passionate about I&D while knowing how to meet people of all levels “where they are” with consideration and diplomacy
  • Self-assured in the appreciation and making selections on program investments, informed by data analysis
  • Skill in integrating communications across multiple teams and activities for cohesive and unified messaging and alignment across stakeholders
  • Highly experienced in building internal relationships and “influencing without authority” to establish confidence and achieve optimal program outcomes
  • Excellent business partnering and cross-cultural skills to build solid and sustained relationships across teams and geographies
  • Knowledge of employer branding and talent acquisition; direct experience in these areas is a plus
  • Proven success maintaining relationships with external organizations, vendors and consultants, including budget oversight
  • Honed verbal and written communication skills, with excellent audience awareness and careful attention to detail

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
