Title: Sr. Director, Real Estate Strategy

Location: Curaleaf Corporate Office (Stamford, CT; Las Vegas, NV; Scottsdale, AZ; Chicago, IL)

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

About the Role:  As the Senior Director of Real Estate Strategy, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management of our real estate portfolio including site acquisition, property development, leasing, and asset optimization. Your expertise in real estate management will help you identify prime locations, negotiate favorable terms, and oversee the purchase process. This role is instrumental in expanding our footprint, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving sustainable growth within the company.  If you have a passion for real estate and a proven track record of driving business growth through innovative strategies, we invite you to join our team and make a significant impact on our company's future.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the identification and acquisition of new dispensary, cultivation, and processing locations.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and manage landlord relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless new location development.
  • Oversee property development projects from conception to completion.
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential real estate investments.
  • Optimize the performance of existing assets through strategic management and lease negotiations.
  • Develop and implement real estate strategies to support company growth objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the real estate team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • This position requires a travel commitment of 35%.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate management, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Track record of implementing innovative real estate strategies to drive business growth.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance, leasing, and property development.
  • Proven track record of successful site acquisitions and lease negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
Connecticut Hiring Range
$170,000$195,000 USD
