Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead our unified communications product strategy. This strategic role requires a visionary leader who can drive the development of cutting-edge features and solutions that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to define and deliver on our product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision:
- Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for unified communications within our customer experience solution.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead a team of product managers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align product initiatives with business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering, UX/UI, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features.
- Product Development Lifecycle:
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring that product specifications meet customer requirements.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage product development processes effectively.
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze product performance and user feedback to inform future product enhancements.
- Market Advocacy:
- Act as the primary advocate for the unified communications product line, representing the product at industry events and customer engagements.
- Develop thought leadership content that positions the company as a leader in unified communications.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on unified communications or related SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products.
- Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Acumen:
- Deep understanding of unified communications technologies, including VoIP, video conferencing, messaging, and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
- Analytical Mindset:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience using analytics to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
