Senior Director, Product and Solutions Marketing (LSS)

LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead and elevate our product marketing efforts, shaping the narrative and strategy for some of our most impactful products. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing to define how we bring LinkedIn’s solutions to market, drive adoption, and engage our global audience of sales professionals and their organizations. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Go-to-Market Leadership – Develop and drive end-to-end go-to-market strategies for LinkedIn’s products, ensuring alignment with business goals and audience needs. 

  • Product Positioning & Messaging – Craft compelling, differentiated messaging that clearly communicates value propositions, resonates with target audiences, and strengthens LinkedIn’s market presence. 

  • Market & Customer Insights – Leverage research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to inform product strategy, messaging, and positioning. 

  • Sales Enablement – Partner with sales teams to develop impactful sales collateral, training, and competitive insights that drive product adoption and revenue growth. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product management, brand marketing, sales, and communications teams to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing market success. 

  • Thought Leadership & Storytelling – Develop compelling narratives and content that position LinkedIn as an industry leader, driving awareness and engagement across key audiences. 

  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Analyze performance metrics, market trends, and customer insights to refine marketing strategies and optimize impact. 

  • Team Leadership & Development – Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. 

  • Stakeholder Influence – Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, influencing product roadmaps, investment priorities, and business strategies based on market insights. 

  • Innovation & Experimentation – Drive new approaches to product marketing, leveraging emerging trends, AI-driven insights, and innovative storytelling techniques to elevate LinkedIn’s impact.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 12+ years of product marketing, or related experience  

  • 7+ years of experience hiring, leading and developing both senior leaders and individual contributors 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and translating customer/user needs and insights into strategic product implications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear insights/implications 

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to influence and drive initiatives forward 

  • Ability to break down an ambiguous or complex problem, structure a solution and offer recommendations 

  • Proven track record of developing and executing high impact go-to-market strategies  

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, including commercial orientation for growth

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.    

The pay range for this role is $202,000 to $316,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
